About Fair Havens

Our Vision is ‘Making every day count’ where we focus on life, living and what is important to our patients and families. At Fair Havens we are passionate about providing the best palliative and supportive care to improve the lives of those affected by complex or incurable conditions.

Fair Havens is a range of palliative care services that can be provided through the hospice in Prittlewell or via services in the community or a patient’s own home.

Fair Havens can care for people:

  • Over the age of 18 years
  • Have a complex or incurable condition and require support to manage their symptoms or wish to be admitted for end of life or respite care
  • Registered with a GP in the Southend, Castle Point and Rochford Clinical Commissioning Groups (CCG’s), or if their usual place of residence is within this area even if they are not registered with a GP (e.g. people without housing or travelling communities)
