About Fair Havens

Fair Havens is a range of palliative care services that can be provided through the hospice in Prittlewell or via services in the community or a patient’s own home.

We care for patients from the age of 19 who have been diagnosed with a complex or incurable condition. They must be registered with a GP within Southend, Castle Point or Rochford.

Our specialist Care Teams can support adults and their families at the point of diagnosis, throughout their illness, death and bereavement.

For the safety of our patients - in line with the national requirement to minimise contact and in keeping with other hospitals and hospices - we have taken the decision to limit visitors to our In Patient Unit. Full details can be found here.
