When there is no cure, Havens Hospices can provide the care you need.
Fair Havens is a 16 bedded hospice in Prittlewell, overlooking Priory Park with ample, free parking.
All the patient rooms are situated on the ground floor with en-suite bathrooms and tracking hoists. The rooms all have access onto a small patio area and the wider garden outside space.
Our care will hopefully give you and your family the confidence to cope and enjoy the best quality of life possible and for those at the end of their lives, a peaceful death. Our care extends to families, friends and carers of people referred to the hospice and continues into bereavement.
Some patients may only require a stay for a few days before going home again. Some people choose to receive hospice care several times during their illness, depending on their condition and their wishes.
Facilities at Fair Havens include 16 In Patient bedrooms, Day Hospice including a physiotherapy gym and therapy rooms, The Sanctuary – a place for reflection or prayer, a Bistro for families to have a meal or grab a snack and family accommodation.
Initial contact may be made either by a patient or carer, or any professional directly involved in the patient’s care. Anyone making a referral must have the consent of the patient.
No. All our care is provided free of charge thanks to the generosity of our supporters who make kind donations through fundraising events, gifts in wills and our lottery.
