“When I was referred, I was a bit unsure and felt overwhelmed and anxious, but Fair Havens was nothing like I imagined. I expected it to be sad, but it is full of light and happiness – there isn’t one staff member who hasn’t got a smile on their face.
“I like gardening, so Therapy through Nature really appealed to me.
“I like meeting and chatting with others in the group, seeing the seeds grow and nature take its course. It has a relaxed atmosphere.
“I used to go out a lot, but now I don’t so much as I get anxious. I don’t get worried when I’m coming to Therapy Through Nature, though, I feel at ease – it’s something I look forward to.”
