who can we help?
Day Care is available to those with a life-threatening or life-limiting illness living within the areas of Southend, Castle Point and Rochford.
Day Care is available to those who need it - free of charge - but donations are greatly appreciated.
what we offer
We offer a range of services, including practical and emotional support, reflexology, infusions (blood taken and transfusions given), counselling, IT facilities and access to social work.
Hot meals and refreshments are provided during the day, with specific dietary needs easily catered for.
When you visit Day Care you are allocated two members of staff, a Key Worker and a Co-Worker.
They are responsible for your nursing care during your time at the centre and continue to assess your individual needs.
Each patient is reviewed every 8-12 weeks to discuss your continued support. This could be continued visits to Day Care or support via our Link Group.
The Link Group provides additional support to patients, families and carers. This will be discussed if you no longer need direct care or respite.
