Do you work with a group, club or organisation that could benefit from the expertise of Havens Hospices on supporting people through illness, death and bereavement?
There can be many barriers to accessing palliative and supportive care which lead to suffering and isolation. Everyone should have the confidence and support to make informed choices about their care.
We can work alongside your volunteers and colleagues, offering bespoke training on building trust with someone who has been diagnosed with a serious illness or facing bereavement. We can also offer advice on initiating conversations around planning for the end of someone’s life, as well as signposting to other charities and organisations that can help.
These will be ongoing partnerships with regular training to update your skills and knowledge. There is no charge for this service, however donations are welcome as we are a charity that provides palliative and supportive care to our community completely free of charge. Please note we can only offer training to a limited number of organisations at any one time.
