Road cycling is an active sport and participation in such sports necessarily involves a risk of injury or death regardless of the standard of the organisation of the event you are taking part in. By entering this event you are declaring yourself medically fit to take part and understand that the organisers, sponsors or an assisting person or persons will be in no way responsible for any injury, illness, loss or damage to your person or property incurred during or as a result of the event or for any damage caused by you to other person’s property.
The organisers reserve the right to refuse entry for any reason.
All cyclists must wear a helmet. Failure to do so will mean that you cannot take part in this event.
ENTRY FEES: Entry fees cannot be refunded if you are unable to attend the event.
PICTURES: You understand that pictures/filming taken during the event may be used by The J’s Hospice and Havens Hospices to promote both Pedal for The J’s and the work that the charity does in the future. If you would not like your pictures to be used please email firstname.lastname@example.org
MEDICAL: Although the organisers accept no responsibility for any injuries, a medical team will be in attendance. Marshals will summon medical assistance on route if required.
LIABILTY WAIVER: All participants MUST complete a liability waiver before taking part.
