Rakesh Krishnan is a proactive, innovative, and commercially aware business & digital transformation lead with close to 20 years’ experience in navigating complex environments and engaging with stakeholders at Director and C-level in the Financial Services Sector.

He brings a strong reputation of delivering industry-wide change initiatives to achieve excellent customer outcomes. An energetic self-starter with an entrepreneurial mind set and ability for translating complex into simple. Rakesh started his career with big consultancy organisations such as Wipro and Deloitte delivering consultancy assignments in multiple geographies for established financial services providers such as Capital One, Lloyds Bank, Aviva and Saudi Aramco. The strong foundations through delivery of these assignments were followed by working with an industry standards body, Polaris UK Limited, holding various roles including head of data standards and head of product development for UK General Insurance market. Recent experience of working for an InsurTech to define and deliver a Software as a Service (SaaS) platform for data driven services proved quite timely. Since 2021, Rakesh works as an independent business consultant delivering business and digital transformation for clients but at the same time delivering training courses for multiple clients in the same field.

One of the reasons Rakesh went independent is to give back to the society through various volunteering work. The opportunity presented itself through the Trustee role at Havens Hospices and Rakesh aims to help the Board of Trustees through his expertise in leadership & management, digital transformation and process improvement to help Havens Hospices achieve its ambition – i.e. “To support everyone facing complex or incurable illnesses to live well and die well by providing access to quality compassionate care when they need it most”.
