Louise Bryan was appointed as Chief Executive Officer of Havens Hospices in February 2026, following her interim appointment in April 2025.

Louise joined Havens Hospices as Finance Director in December 2022, bringing extensive leadership experience in both finance and strategic development from the commercial sector. A qualified FCCA with a degree in accountancy and finance, Louise has held senior finance roles across a range of commercial industries and private equity.

Since joining Havens Hospices, Louise has played a crucial role in financial planning and sustainability, developing the charity’s Deficit Action Plan to protect vital hospice services across Essex. As CEO, Louise is focused on implementing the charity’s strategic direction while championing long-term, fair, and sustainable funding to secure the future of the hospice sector.

Speaking about her appointment, Louise said: “I’m absolutely delighted to be appointed as Chief Executive of Havens Hospices. Leading an organisation whose purpose – making every day count with expert, compassionate hospice care – is something I’m truly passionate about.
