Emma Simpson

Emma started her career at Little Havens in 1998, spending 17 years with the charity before moving to a palliative community nursing team. Emma rejoined Little Havens in 2020.

“I started as a Healthcare Assistant in 1998 when Little Havens first opened as part of the original Care Team.  I completed my Children’s Nurse Training sponsored by the charity, which had never been done before. When I became a qualified nurse, I spent time in the community, supporting families in their own homes, before eventually returning to Little Havens.

“I love working for Havens Hospices because we can deliver care that is specialised and personalised to every family. We share their happiest of times along with their most difficult times when at their most vulnerable. It’s a privilege to offer that type of care.”
