CANCELLATION BY US (THE WING WALK COMPANY OR HAVENS HOSPICES)
We are flying in the UK and like other outdoor experiences we are subject to the British weather. Also, we are flying vintage aircraft which are subject to extensive safety checks and maintenance programmes, which sometimes pick up faults necessitating unscheduled repairs, and therefore delays. Your safety is paramount to us, and we will never compromise your safety, as such we reserve the right to cancel or delay your flight at any time.
We want to make you aware that there is a possibility of short notice cancellation due to weather, mechanical problems with our aircraft or other unforeseen circumstance beyond our control.
Should your flight be cancelled by us, we will endeavor to provide you with as much notice as possible and you will be provided with the ability to reschedule your flight for the next available slot.
The Wing Walk Company and Havens Hospices will not be liable for any costs such as travel or accommodation by the participant, their family or friends.
WHAT HAPPENS IF THE WEATHER IS BAD AND WE CAN’T FLY?
We do not provide refunds if the weather is bad we reschedule the flight to a suitable new date.
We cannot fly in strong winds and rain. Our Chief Pilot checks the forecast regularly and Havens will contact the pilot the day before your experience to confirm if your flight is going ahead of not.
If we are forced to cancel your flight due to bad weather, then the group charity booking will be rearranged and the charity will communicate the new date with you, please do not contact the Wing Walk Company or the Airfield directly.
YOUR CIRCUMSTANCES CHANGE
If your circumstances change, for example you are pregnant; instead of cancelling or changing the date of your Wing Walk you can consider offering the Wing Walk experience to a friend or relative. This can be done by emailing FRadmin@havenshospices.org.uk.
FORCE MAJEURE
Should other circumstances outside of our control arise, which could not have been prevented despite all precautions by us, for example; acts of God, riots, pandemics, civil unrest and Civil Aviation Authority restrictions, that put a stop to an event, refunds will not be given.
All wing walkers will be able to re-schedule to a future date when the event will be held as normal, after the disruption has passed. If the disruption has an undetermined length, and continues for longer than 12 months; your voucher expiry date will be extended accordingly so your booking can be rolled over.
