My Invisible Backpack – What’s In Yours? By Havens Hospices
On the 4th and 5th July, Havens Hospices will feature inspiring artwork created by children and young people supported by our Wellbeing Team. The exhibition explores the hidden feelings, emotions and challenges they carry every day, whether coping with the grief of losing a loved one or living with a family member who has an incurable illness.
Our Children and Young People’s Wellbeing Team often find that many youngsters may struggle to put their feelings into words so emotions and challenges may go unnoticed. feelings and challenges they face can go unnoticed. Creative activities such as painting, drawing and poetry can help children express emotions they may feel too vulnerable to verbalise.
Come along to meet our Wellbeing Team and learn about creative activities you can use at home or in school to help support children through grief and bereavement.
