Christmas Tree Recycling Collection 2027

About the event

When: Where: Collections in SS0 - SS12

Our Christmas Tree Collection Service is returning in January 2027 to support our hospice care.

We’ll be offering residents in the specific postcode areas of SS0, SS1, SS2, SS3, SS4, SS5, SS6, SS7, SS8, SS9, SS12 and SS12 the collection of their real Christmas trees.

When booking the collection service please consider adding a donation to help Havens Hospices continue providing free, specialist care for local children, young people and adults living with incurable conditions.

  • £15.50 could pay for half an hour of expert care at Little Havens, providing care during a respite break, emergency stay or support at the end of a young person’s life.
  • £28 could provide materials for a hand casting to create precious memories for a family.
  • £67 could pay for an hour of music therapy for a young person, helping them to express themselves and communicate, no matter their ability.
Your generosity helps local families make every day count. For more information please check our FAQs here.

We will be collecting Christmas trees on Friday 8th, Saturday 9th and Monday 11th January 2027, with the support of our wonderful volunteers.

Once collected, the trees will be chipped and the chippings used within the hospice grounds.

Please make sure all decorations are removed and your tree is left somewhere easily accessible for our volunteers. Please note, our volunteers are unable to enter your property or rear garden to collect your tree.

Please note your tree is to be presented outside the front of your property by 8am on Friday 8th January so that it can be collected by our volunteers.
