Have a ‘tee-mendous’ day with colleagues supporting Havens Hospices

A local hospice charity is on the lookout for teams from local businesses to join its annual charity golf event, which raises vital funds for hospice care.

Kindly sponsored by Constructive Space, Havens Hospices’ Corporate Golf Day will return on Thursday 27th April at Stock Brook Country Club, Billericay.

Over the past six years, the event has raised thousands of pounds for Havens Hospices which provides specialist palliative nursing and supportive care to children, young people and adults across Essex in the comfort of their homes or at its two hospices.

Teams of four cost £320 and the programme for the Golf Day begins with tea or coffee and a breakfast roll on arrival, followed by a fun 18-hole round of golf where teams will compete for the winner’s trophy. Once teams have completed their round of golf, they will enjoy a two-course meal, an auction, and a raffle.

Another way to support the charity is for local businesses to sponsor one or more of the 18 holes on the course. An advert for the company will be displayed at each hole that they sponsor.

Rossella Inguscio, Corporate Fundraiser at Havens Hospices says: “Year after year we are blown away by the support from local businesses who participate in our Corporate Golf Day. It’s always a popular and enjoyable day for colleagues and a fantastic way to entertain clients and network with other local businesses.

“Havens Hospices doesn’t charge a penny for any of its specialist care and that’s only thanks to the amazing support from businesses at events like this.”
