Our Friday Night Dinner Club is a relaxed, friendly space for siblings to come together, have fun, and enjoy making and sharing food as a group. The sessions are informal and welcoming, giving siblings the chance to socialise, try new things, and build friendships with others who understand their experiences.
Together, we’ll cook, eat around the table, play games, and, when the weather allows, spend time outside around the firepit. Each fortnight, one sibling (or pair of siblings) will take on a light ‘host’ role, helping to choose the menu and lead activities with support from staff. This helps build confidence, teamwork, and a sense of ownership.

We're incredibly lucky to have two beach huts in Mersea for the day, kindly provided to us free of charge. To make sure we can continue to enjoy opportunities like this in the future, we do need to follow a very important rule from the council.
Each beach hut can have a maximum of 6 people at any one time (inside or outside the hut area). The council is very strict on these numbers, and exceeding them would put the hut owners' licence at risk.
We can't wait for a day filled with sandcastles, paddling, beach games, and making wonderful memories together!
Fish and chips for lunch will be provided, or you can bring a packed lunch. Please let us know if you'd like to come to Little Havens and travel with us or meet us in Mersea.
