We want to be able to say “Yes!” to every patient who will need us this Christmas. Because we know that, for most, it will be their last Christmas. Can you help us say “Yes!” this year?
When you are caring for someone with an incurable condition, you only get one chance to get that care right. Saying ‘Yes!” to patients and families is a vital part of the care service we provide – because most won’t have another chance to have their wish granted.
We want to be able to say “Yes!” every time a patient or family has a special request. Like when a mum asked to “see the snow with her children” we said “Yes!” with the help of a snow machine. Or when a couple wanted to enjoy Christmas dinner together with their family in the lounge, we said “Yes!”
Please give a gift to the hospice this Christmas – and help us to say “Yes!” to someone who needs us over the holidays.

"If we said, ‘Do you think we could do this?’ the answer was always, “Yes!”
We carried Elio around the gardens, and the team arranged a photographer so we could have proper family photos, something we wouldn’t have thought to ask for but Little Havens made possible.
As the tubes and equipment were removed, it felt like we had our baby back. We were able to do things that had felt impossible in hospital.
The two days we were at Little Havens were the most tragic days of our lives – but also two of the most beautiful.
Little Havens gave us so much. Now we fundraise to try and give back so other families can have that same chance – the chance to hear “yes” when it matters most."

We will be collecting trees from the following postcodes: SS0, SS1, SS2, SS3, SS4, SS5, SS6, SS7, SS8 and SS9
While we truly appreciate every thoughtful gesture, Christmas at the hospice looks a little different than many people imagine.
Care at Little Havens on Christmas is about providing specialist end-of-life care for those who need us most and care at home for the children and young people so they can be surrounded by the people they love. For these children, toys aren’t what they or their families need most right now. Instead, our specialist care, support, and compassion are the greatest gifts we can give.
Instead of collecting toys, by fundraising you could help fund the expert care that gives local families precious moments together - whether that’s pain management, respite support, or helping a child spend their final days in the comfort of their own home.
