We have plenty of ideas including those that are “Geeky”, for “Girls”, or involve "Footie" a “Teddy”, “Betsy” or to 'Remember a loved one' or you can make up your own.

Whatever your “Bit of a Do” for Havens Hospices, you’ll be helping raise money for life-limited adults, children and families when they need it most.

here’s how to get started:

i: what’s your “do?”

We’ve got lots of ideas to get you started, but think of an activity that you will enjoy organising and hosting from which you can raise money.
Use the links at the bottom of this page to see our great variety of ‘Bit of a Do’ ideas and then tell us about your plans by filling in this form so we can offer our support and provide you with fundraising materials.

2: invite your guests

Shout about your “Do!” The more people you tell, the more chance you have of raising even more vital funds for Havens Hospices.
Get on the phone, text, message, tweet, post – whatever it takes!

3: the fundraising bit

Are you going to charge entry, sell raffle tickets, have auction prizes or ask for sponsorship?
There’s so many ways that people can donate to your “Do".

4: keeping up appearances

It’s important that you have the materials to help your "Do", from buckets, collection tins, balloons, t-shirts, stickers – the list is (almost!) endless.

You can post pictures to our Fundraising Facebook page or tweet us @HavensHosEvents using #bitofado

5: every penny, 'making every day count'

Once your “Do” has finished, the satisfying part is handing over the donation to Havens Hospices, knowing it can then be spent on caring for our patients, children and families.
