Simon is a patron for Little Havens after visiting the families at Little Havens along with his wife Ayshen to see how we are ‘Making every day count’.
In their roles as Patron and Ambassador, the couple will help to raise the profile of the charity and be spokespersons for the work it does. They will be visiting the families the hospice cares for and will continue to support and fundraise for the charity, like at their upcoming Webbe Industries 2023 Gala in October.
Simon says, “It’s an absolute pleasure to be asked to be a Patron for Havens Hospices. Webbe Industries have been working with the charity for four years now, and we have had the opportunity to see first-hand how much work goes into running a place like Little Havens and Fair Havens, and their amazing facilities and staff.”
Simon is best known as a member of the British boy band Blue, who sold over 16 million records and won two Brit Awards, among numerous other accolades. As a solo artist, Simon has released three studio albums, sold over 1.2 million records worldwide and had five UK Top 40 singles. On screen he has starred in films including: ‘Rollin’ with the Nines’, and ‘The Truth about Love’ alongside Jennifer Love Hewitt and Dougray Scott.
Simon is also a regular fixture on British television, having appeared in ITV’s ‘I’m a Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here!’, BBC1’s ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ and ‘Celebrity Masterchef’, to name a few. A recent foray into theatre has seen Simon star in ‘Sister Act’ at The London Palladium, ‘The 3 Little Pigs’ at the Palace Theatre, ‘Aladdin’ at the Theatre Royal, ‘Jack and the Beanstalk’ at The Royal & Derngate Theatre and ‘Aladdin’ at the Alhambra Theatre.
Simon’s extensive experience in the industry, and his love of helping others positioned him well when starting Webbe Industries, and they continue to go from strength-to-strength with their core family values in play.
