Adding a leaf to the tree, engraved with your loved one’s name, nickname or a short message, is a special way to dedicate in their memory and we hope it provides some comfort to you.
Leaves of life is a public memorial at Southend Crematorium, SS2 5PX, in the beautiful Gardens of Remembrance. You can visit the memorial tree any time the crematorium is open.
You can choose between a bronze leaf or a slightly larger gold leaf and your loved one’s name* will be engraved and displayed for a period of 12 months. You will have the option to renew your leaf at the end of the year.
Your dedication will help us continue to care for those who have complex or incurable conditions.
*Alternatively, two names or a family name can be engraved on a gold leaf but excluding dates of birth and death.

You can purchase a leaf online by direct debit here, which means your leaf will renew annually and continue to be displayed on our Leaves of Life tree until you cancel your payment.

*Leaves not renewed will be removed after 12 months and can be purchased at a small additional cost.
Another beautiful way you can remember someone special is creating an online everlasting tribute where you can share your memories and stories with friends and family. Any money you raise for Havens Hospices through the everlasting tribute fund – however you do it – will be dedicated to them.
