Spend the weekend on the water as you canoe through the stunning Wye Valley. We’ll be camping right on the banks of the river and testing our skills on the waterway over two days.
When: Where: Byecross Farm Campsite, Preston on Wye, Hereford HR2 9LJ
Explore the River Wye from your canoe stopping for lunches and refreshments along the way before returning to share dinner around a cosy campfire each evening.
Byecross Farm campsite is located between Hereford and Hay-on-Wye and is the perfect base for a weekend of canoeing down the River Wye. You will be camping in either the Old Apple Orchard or open camping fields and will need to bring your camping equipment (e.g tent, sleeping bag, sleeping mat, toiletries, towels).
The campsite has a toilet and shower block and a small shop on site to buy essentials and local beverages You must have a good level of fitness and oodles of determination to explore the stunning Wye Vally by canoe on this two day adventure.

Please note – the minimum age to take part in this challenge is 18 years or 16 years if accompanied by an adult. Participants must be able to swim and get in and out of the canoes.
