On the 25th April, golfers came together at Stock Brook Country Club for a fun day of fundraising at Havens Hospices’ annual Corporate Golf Day.  

The day began with tea, coffee and breakfast rolls on arrival, followed by a fun 18-hole round of golf. Once the teams completed their round of golf, they enjoyed a two-course meal, an auction, and a raffle. 

An incredible £14,457 was raised for Havens Hospices, including Fair Havens and Little Havens. The local charity relies heavily on fundraising from the local community to carry on providing its specialist care and support to children, young adults, adults and their families from across Essex.   

Local business Charles Stanley Wealth Managers kindly sponsored the day. Pill Moonie, Branch Manager and Director of Private Clients said: “As always, the Leigh-on-Sea branch of Charles Stanley was delighted to sponsor this event and to collaborate once more with Havens Hospices. The charity does so much great work locally, and friends and family of the Charles Stanley team have benefited from their help and support both in the past and in the present. We were delighted to have been able to help out, but this small token is nothing compared to the comfort and support they give to those who need it.”
