Whether you’re looking to ‘trek to the end of the world’ in sunny Portugal, scale the heights of the famous Mount Kilimanjaro or take on one of Earth’s most iconic landmarks in China, there’s a challenge for every adventurer on next year’s calendar.
Every step taken will help Havens Hospices continue providing free, specialist care for children, adults and families across the county. The charity relies heavily on donations to fundraise the £207,000 needed each week to be there for families who need them during the most difficult times.
Susie May, Fundraising Officer at Havens Hospices, said: “Our treks give people the chance to do something extraordinary while raising money for a cause that truly has an impact on the lives of local people. Whether it’s your first big adventure or your tenth, we’ll be with you every step of the way.”
Participants will receive support with fundraising from the charity’s friendly Fundraising Team and a Havens Hospices t-shirt. For more information, including payment options and fundraising targets, visit www.havenshospices.org.uk/events or call 01702 220 305.
