Amy Dearing has a long and extensive history within Havens Hospices that spans over two decades. She began at the charity in 2005 as the sole Press Officer, bringing with her a background in journalism and experience from the world of local radio. Over the years, Amy has seen the charity grow, and her career with it.
In 2019, Amy took on the role of Head of Marketing & Digital, moving towards her appointment as Director of Fundraising and Marketing in 2023.
The teams focus on finding innovative ways to secure the support necessary to provide care and support to the countless local families who rely on Havens Hospices during their most challenging times.
Amy oversees all aspects of the fundraising and marketing at Havens Hospices, including generating income from voluntary sources, brand management, digital marketing, public relations and social media. She’s also a mentor for CharityComms and a Trustee for another small local charity.
