Garden Club Co-ordinator Volunteer

Contract: We are looking for you to give a four-hour weekly commitment
Location: Fair Havens, Prittlewell

We are looking to recruit a volunteer to coordinate the maintenance of the gardens at Fair Havens Hospice, Southend.

The role will be to maintain the gardens, be the main point of contact for our Garden Club and identify areas of work that need to be undertaken. You will also work alongside Corporate Volunteer Groups supporting them in their role.  We are looking for a commitment of four-hours a week.

Role description

Responsibilities

  • Helping to maintain the gardens, so they are a welcome and relaxing environment for patients, families, visitors, staff and volunteers
  • Being the main point of contact with the Charity, for the Garden Club
  • Identifying areas of work that need to be undertaken, feeding this back to the relevant person
  • Reporting any concerns or issues about the gardens, equipment or other volunteers, to the Volunteer Coordinator
