What You’ll Do

As a Trustee, you will:

• Help shape the charity’s strategy and long-term vision
• Ensure legal, ethical, and financial responsibilities are met
• Act in the best interests of the charity and its beneficiaries
• Support and hold the Leadership Team accountable
• Use your skills and experience to guide decisions and drive improvements
• You will also have the opportunity to serve on one of our three Committees, Care, Finance, or Governance, depending on your interests and expertise.

This is a voluntary role. Expenses for travel to meetings can be reimbursed. Trustees are appointed for an initial four-year term, with the option to serve a second term.

Time Commitment

• Quarterly Board Meetings (usually 3 hours, in person or online)
• Committee Meetings (as relevant)
• Induction and ongoing training
• Occasional service visits, fundraising events, and strategic planning days
