A post has become available for a highly motivated and enthusiastic lead nurse to join our children and Young Peoples service at Little Havens Children’s Hospice, part of the Havens Hospices Charity.

This post is for a dedicated senior nurse who is passionate about providing and developing excellent services for children and young people who have life limited lives aged 0 – 25 years across Essex.  The successful candidate will demonstrate a developed understanding of children’s hospice care and the requirements of children who have special education needs and the needs of children and young people who are at the end of their life.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the nursing teams caring for children and young people within the CYP service, both in the hospice and in the community.  As the lead nurse, you will be accountable for coordinating safe, high quality, evidence-based care to improve the experience for children, young people and their carers by providing strong professional leadership and line management to clinical staff.

You will work closely with the Head of Children and Young Peoples services to develop the service and increase capacity by developing innovative services that are responsive to  the needs of the children, young people and families we care for.
