In Memory Fundraiser

Contract: Full time- 37.5 Hours per week
Salary: £27,000
Location: Fair Havens

We’re recruiting an In Memory Fundraiser to build, manage and nurture relationships with supporters to raise funds from In Memory giving.  This role will work collaboratively with the wider fundraising team to maximise income, donor engagement and donor retention across all areas of fundraising.

At Havens Hospices we care for children, young people and adults with complex or incurable conditions. Our specialist Care Teams can support them and their family living throughout illness, death and bereavement, in the comfort of their own home and through our hospice services, Fair Havens and Little Havens.

Although you may not be giving direct care to our families, this role will have a direct effect on our care services.

Full job specification

Key responsibilities:

  1. Work closely with the Individual Giving Manager to develop an In Memory Giving Strategy with the focus on donor retention and increasing the level of giving.
  2. Implement the agreed strategy for In Memory fundraising and also support the implementation of other Individual giving activity.
  3. To work closely with the Individual Giving Manager to contribute to the development of budgets for In Memory giving.
  4. Ensure delivery of income against targets, regularly monitoring and evaluating performance.
