Hospice at Home Night Nurse

This is an amazing opportunity to work as a member of the Hospice at Home Community Team ensuring a holistic package of care is provided to patients and families within their own home. You will enhance independence and quality of life, support provision of a variety of therapies, and provide practical and emotional support to our patients and their carers.

The successful applicant will be a Hospice employee and may therefore have contact with vulnerable people and carers, they may certainly come into contact with those who are caring for vulnerable people and or their carers. It is necessary to take significant steps to protect the health and safety of our entire community. In order to comply with our duty of care, Havens Hospices require all our staff and volunteers to be fully vaccinated against COVID. Vaccination will be a condition of employment unless a medical evidenced exemption applies.

Key responsibilities:

  • To work as a member of the Community team ensuring a holistic package of care is provided to patients and families within their own home
  • To enhance independence and quality of life, support provision of a variety of therapies, and to provide practical and emotional support to patients and their carers
  • To provide the highest possible standards of specialist and supportive palliative nursing care to patients, responding to changing circumstances and demands
