We are currently recruiting a Fundraising Officer – Events to join our established Fundraising Department, to be involved in the planning, management and delivery of a programme of regional fundraising and challenge events maximising income and the profile of Havens Hospices. When required support the Community Engagement Team across the Community Fundraising income stream.

The successful applicant will be a Hospice employee and may therefore have contact with vulnerable people and carers, they may certainly come into contact with those who are caring for vulnerable people and or their carers. It is necessary to take significant steps to protect the health and safety of our entire community. In order to comply with our duty of care, Havens Hospices require all our staff and volunteers to be fully vaccinated against COVID. Vaccination will be a condition of employment unless a medical evidenced exemption applies.
At Havens Hospices we care for children, young people and adults with complex or incurable conditions. Our specialist Care Teams can support them and their family living throughout illness, death and bereavement, in the comfort of their own home and through our hospice services.
Although you may not be giving direct care to our families, this role will have a direct effect on our care services.
