Executive Assistant to the CEO

Contract: Part time –25 hours per week
Location: Fair Havens
Closing Date: Jul 30, 2021

We are currently recruiting an Executive Assistant to support our CEO, providing high level administrative, secretarial and office management. The successful applicant will be pivotal in ensuring the completion of strategic objectives.

Candidates will have:

  • Experience in a PA environment
  • GCSE level or equivalent in English and Maths
  • Intermediate keyboard and IT skills, working with Word, Excel and outlook, PowerPoint
  • Excellent customer service
  • Willingness to learn and develop new skills
  • Ability to communicate sensitively and diplomatically with a wide range of people

At Havens Hospices we care for children, young people and adults with complex or incurable conditions. Our specialist Care Teams can support them and their family living throughout illness, death and bereavement, in the comfort of their own home and through our hospice services, Fair Havens, The J’s and Little Havens.

Key responsibilities:

  • To support the CEO in the planning and undertaking of all tasks required
  • To manage the co-ordination of a number of the organisation’s top level committee meetings and other ad hoc meetings
  • Ensure all administration within the CEO’s office is maintained to the standards set by the CEO.
  • Maintaining up to date filing systems for all key aspects of the CEO’s  work via both paper and electronic filing systems used.
