Care Team Administrator

Contract: Part Time - 22.5 Hours Per Week

We are currently recruiting a Care Team Administrator to join our established Children and Young Persons Team, to provide a variety of administrative procedures and processes for the Children and Young People’s team. The successful applicant will be pivotal in assisting the development of the administrative services provided for the patients and families of Havens Hospices.

Candidates will have:

  • Educated to a GCSE level
  • Advanced ICT skills using applications such as Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Calendar, Forms and Teams.
  • Experience in a customer service environment
  • Ability to communicate sensitively and appropriately with a diverse range of people.
  • Ability to multitask and manage a busy and varied workload, working methodically and paying attention to detail in a busy environment.
  • Excellent communication skills both verbally and written.

Key responsibilities:

  • Work with the hospice multi-disciplinary team to ensure that new referrals to the service are processed and assessments are coordinated and monitored.
  • Support the clinical team with the planning, coordination and bookings of respite and activities for all services within the team.
  • Work as part of the CYP team to ensure that all administrative duties are processed and completed in a timely manner.
  • Create documents, surveys, forms and reports using MS Office.
  • Arrange, prepare, and minute regular team meetings as directed.
  • Monitor and respond to the website, email and phone enquires.
