Sarah Renouf

Sarah is a qualified member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) and joined Havens Hospices in 2019 as the Head of Finance.

She has worked in a number of industries around the world, including manufacturing, construction, technology and the consultancy sector in the UK, USA, France, and the Middle East.

Asked why she chose to work at Havens Hospices, Sarah says, “I have had friends and family members come through the hospice over the years who had been very well looked after, so I wanted to be involved.”

Managing the Finance Team, her responsibilities include reporting monthly management accounts, checking that spending is in line with budgets, paying suppliers and expense payments in a timely manner and preparing information for the auditors for the annual audit.

“One of the things I’m looking to achieve at the hospice is preparing accurate monthly accounts in a timely manner, reducing the two-week close to five days, streamlining finance processes and putting documents online to reduce paper and provide an audit trail.”

She goes on to say, “I like the diversity of my job – no two days are the same – and I enjoy working with my colleagues.”
