Brian Terry

Brian spent 41 years working in the National Health Service, both in Scotland, then in the west of England. He achieved a Master of Business Administration (distinction) at the University of the West of England in 1995. For the last 10 years of his career, in the NHS, he held senior management posts. His main areas of responsibility being all forms of governance, risk management, emergency planning, corporate services and compliance with all NHS regulatory bodies.

Since retiring Brian has become involved in significant amount of charity work in addition to Havens Hospices, and is currently Chair of the Board of Trustees for both Carers Choices and Citizens Advice Castle Point. In addition, Brian is also an elected public governor at Southend University Hospital NHS Trust for Castle Point.
