First Rawreth (St Nicholas) Brownies, organised a three mile walk as part of their agility badge activities, but wanted to use the walk as a way to give back positively to their local community, so chose to fundraise for Havens Hospices.
The three mile walk took the Brownies along the Sweyne Park bridal track and through sponsorship from friends; family and members of the local community the group raised a fantastic £575 for both Little Havens Hospice and Fair Havens Hospice.

“Our Brownies had such a great time fundraising for Havens Hospices through their sponsored walk and were thrilled to have raised such a fantastic amount. The girls really enjoyed meeting Peter from Havens Hospices when he came to talk at one of our pack meetings and hearing about all the amazing work the hospices do to care for families in our local community. The Brownies really wanted to fundraise for Havens Hospices, especially after finding out that they do not charge a penny for the care and service their provide and this is only possible because of the hospice’s supporters.”
