The tasty tea will be held at the College’s Princes Road restaurant. Diners can enjoy unlimited tea, coffee or cordial with a selection of freshly-made sandwiches plus delicious cakes and scones, all created by the catering students.
Tickets are only £10 per person with tables for two to six people and there will also be a raffle.
Money raised from this event will go to The J’s Hospice which supports young adults with life-limiting conditions and their families across Essex. The J’s provides tailored nursing and emotional care, advice and activities in the comfort of their own homes and in the community – helping them to live life to the full, however short.
Zoe Jay, Community Fundraiser at The J’s Hospice, said:
“Our Afternoon Teas at Chelmsford College have always been very popular. The students are so talented – they really spoil us every time with a scrumptious spread of fantastic food. We are very grateful to the College for supporting The J’s Hospice again.
“This event is a great opportunity to get together with friends for a relaxing afternoon, raising much-needed funds for a great cause. Why not come along with your mum and give her a well-deserved Mother’s Day treat?”
To book a table, please email Zoe [Zoe.Jay@havenshospices.org.uk] or call 01245 475474 by Wednesday 27th March.
