Soft Play Centre Goes Bonkers for Hospice Charities

Let’s Go Bonkers in Burnham-on-Crouch is holding a fundraising afternoon on Saturday 4th May.

The Let’s Go Bonkers indoor soft play studio is offering two hours of play from 3.30 to 5.30pm with a buffet for only £5 per child and all the money raised will go to Little Havens Hospice and The J’s Hospice.

Little Havens Hospice in Thundersley is the only place in Essex wholly dedicated to caring for babies, children and teenagers with life-limiting illnesses and their families.

The J’s Hospice provides hospice care in the home and community across Essex for young adults aged 16-40 with life-limiting conditions and their families. It focuses on their individual needs and helps them to manage their illness as much as possible so they can concentrate on leading a happy and fulfilled life.

Ian Cubberley, the owner of Let’s Go Bonkers, said, “When I heard about Little Havens and The J’s, I wanted to support this fantastic cause. Please join us for an exciting afternoon of play and help them to continue caring for babies, children and young adults.’’

Marianna Alexandrou, Community Fundraiser for Little Havens and The J’s Hospices, added, “Thank you to Ian and his team for supporting Little Havens and The J’s. The Let’s Go Bonkers Fun Day sounds like a brilliant way for families to entertain their children for a couple of hours.

“Little Havens and The J’s don’t charge a penny for our care and we must raise over £65,000 each week to be there for everyone that needs us, for as long as we’re needed. So please come along and help us to continue ‘Making every day count’ for the babies, children and young adults that really rely on our care.”

The Fun Day is at Let’s Go Bonkers, Station Industrial Estate, Burnham-on-Crouch on Saturday 4th May, 3.30 to 5.30pm. Tickets are £5 and can be paid for on the door.
