Havens Hospices is hosting a festive themed virtual quiz on Tuesday 7th December at 8pm, presented by the charity’s Patron and Radio Essex presenter Su Harrison. Entry to the quiz is a minimum donation of £5 per person.
The quiz is just one of the ways people can support the charity this Christmas, which provides hospice care for people of all ages living with complex or incurable conditions across Essex.
The charity hopes its Big Christmas Virtual Quiz will follow the success of its previous series of quizzes which were held during lockdown. The quiz is sure to test everyone’s festive knowledge, getting supporters in the Christmas spirit. Supporters will also have the chance to enter a special raffle during the evening for a chance to win either a lunch for two at the prestigious Savoy Hotel in London and a ‘money can’t buy’ prize – a behind the scenes visit to the Radio Essex studio to meet Martin and Su.
Lydia Plews, Senior Business Development Officer at Havens Hospices says, “Incurable conditions don’t take a break during December so neither can our fundraising. Our hospices will still be open 24 hours, seven days a week during the festive period providing palliative and supportive care to those who need us most during difficult times.

So why not put your tree up, pull on a Christmas jumper, grab your favourite festive tipple and test your knowledge to raise vital funds towards our care.”
