The fifth Essex Corporate Quiz organised by Havens Hospices, which includes Fair Havens, Little Havens and The J’s, took place last week at the Hamptons Sports and Leisure Club in Chelmsford.

33 teams of businesses took part on the night and raised a generous £5,370 for Havens Hospices which provides palliative nursing and supportive care to adults, young people and children living with complex or incurable conditions across Essex.

The winners on the night were a team from AON, an insurance company based in Chelmsford.

The 2020 Essex Corporate Quiz was kindly sponsored by the technology company Utilize who have an office in Basildon and entered two teams on the night. Raffle and auction prizes were kindly donated by Fisher Jones Greenwood Solicitors and Utilize.

Rachel Hawksworth, Fundraising Team Leader from Havens Hospices said, “Once again, thank you to all the teams including our sponsors who attended and supported this year’s Essex Corporate Quiz. The event is a great opportunity for businesses to get together, socialise, network and have some fun outside of work – it was fantastic to see so many teams turn out from a variety of businesses across Essex.

“It is because of their support and generous donations our specialist care teams at Havens Hospices can continue to provide palliative nursing and supportive care to those who have been told there is no cure. We hope to see you all back next year!”
