On Saturday 3rd June, Havens Hospices is holding their annual thanksgiving service at Southend Crematorium at 3pm.
The service has been organised by Havens Hospices Chaplainancy who will be conducting the event. The service although organised by Havens Hospices is not exclusive, this is an open invite to anyone who has been bereaved in the local community.
Rev. John Kennett. Chaplain at Havens Hospices said,
“There have been a number of wonderful people who have come through our doors here at Havens Hospices. As part of of our role at the hospices and in the local community we offer emotional and spiritual support for anyone who has been bereaved.
“The thanksgiving service gives families and individuals an opportunity to remember with fondness their loved one, alongside others who may have been on similar journies as them and are sharing a similar sense of loss. We welcome many families who have used or been supported at either Little Havens Hospice and Fair Havens Hospice, but we would like to extend our invitation to the wider community. We hope to see you at the service and look forward to celebrating your loved ones’ lives.”
