The Ark Pets are showing their support to Little Havens Hospice for Children’s Hospice Week and also the hospice’s Swashbuckling Summer campaign across the half term break by inviting customers and local residents the opportunity to take a selfie with Noah the Parrot for a donation to the charity.
Bill Gregory, owner of The Ark Pets, explained
“We are big supporters of Little Havens Hospice, the work they do is vital for families across Essex and we love helping them continue ‘Making every day count’ for hundreds of babies, children and teenagers with life-limiting illnesses and their families for as long as they need it.
“When we found out that this year’s summer campaign for the hospice was pirates, we just had to get involved. Noah is an incredibly friendly parrot and has loved the attention he’s been getting over the past week. We are running ‘Pose with a Parrot’ until the 3rd of June so anyone who wants to have a selfie or photo with Noah pop in to the shop and strike your best pose in return for a small donation for Little Havens Hospice.”
The Ark Pets have a variety of pirate outfits for anyone who pops in to the shop.
