Family-friendly restaurant chain, Frankie & Benny’s have chosen Together for Short Lives, the leading UK charity that supports seriously ill children and their families, to be their charity partner for the next year.
Each Frankie & Benny’s restaurant will be directly fundraising for their local children’s hospice and Little Havens Hospice has been twinned with Frankie & Benny’s across Essex. Money raised by staff will help Little Havens to provide families facing some of the hardest challenges with the vital care and support they need.
Rosalyn Luckman, Community Fundraising Manager said;
“We’re delighted to be benefiting from the partnership between Together for Short Lives and Frankie & Benny’s. At Little Havens we focus on the individual needs of the children we care for, ‘Making every day count’ for those with life limiting illnesses and their families. This specialist care and support is only possible with the help of the community and companies like Frankie & Benny’s who by partnering with Together for Short Lives will be helping to raise the £46,000 we need each week to continue caring for families across Essex when they need us most.“
Spencer Ayres, Managing Director at Frankie and Benny’s said:
“Frankie and Benny’s has a strong tradition of supporting charities over the years and we are delighted to be joining forces with Together for Short Lives. To begin a partnership with a charity that touches so many lives is one that I’m extremely proud of and is a cause the whole team at Frankie’s will be behind. We can’t wait to see the efforts of our team and the generosity of our guests improving lives during the most challenging of times.”
