Little Havens Children's Hospice has been designed to create a warm and homely environment, whilst at the same time offering specialist facilities to help our children Make Every Day Count.
It is a purpose built, architecturally designed building situated within maintained woodland just five minutes drive from the A127 or A13.
We pride ourselves on our informal and relaxed atmosphere. The building is designed to be a "home from home."

Some of our main features include:
- Play areas - a soft play ball pool, messy play room and lounge with toys, DVDs and books suitable for all ages and abilities
- Hydrotherapy pool and spa bath - at a perfect temperature with private changing areas and hoist, many children thrive on being able to splash around in the pool
- Computer Room - whether they are doing school work, playing games or keeping in touch with their friends, our Computer Room has adjustable desktops and programmes to allow all children to use the equipment
- Multi-sensory room - with bubble tubes, lights, music, aromatherapy, textile toys and a water bed, this room is specially designed to help stimulate impaired senses
- Landscaped gardens - wheelchair-friendly paths weave around the vast gardens leading explorers to secluded areas, a sensory garden, wendy house, external play equipment and Gandalf's Garden
- Children's accommodation - there are eight bedrooms with two of these being larger rooms with en suites suitable for teenagers. Named and themed after woodland animals, each room has an adjustable bed, hoist, sofabed and its own patio area
- Family accommodation - Eight bedrooms above the hospice where family members can stay overnight if they wish. Although families are invited to eat and socialise within the hospice, there is also a family lounge and kitchen area upstairs
- Bereavement suite - The Woodland Suite is a bereavement bedroom where a child can stay after they have died up until their funeral. This gives family members a chance to say their goodbyes
