Make Every Day Count

There are not many nursing roles that, in return, give you time. Time to care for your patient, time to listen, time to be a Nurse.

But that’s what we do at Havens Hospices. Our emphasis is on Making Every Day Count. One day you could be helping a patient to get their medication under control or providing personal care and helping maintain their dignity, the next planning a care package for the patient to go home, or holding their hand whilst they regale with childhood tales. We are completely led by the patient here at the hospice, and not by targets.

This can only be handled by special people, and we are looking for people to join our team and help Make Every Day Count for the hundreds of people we are caring for, making their journey – and that of their family – as comfortable as possible, creating special memories along the way.

In return for your expertise and passion you will receive 5 weeks annual leave, extensive training and we will also contribute to the NHS Pension scheme for continuing members. Plus, we are two minutes walk away from the seaside ! But most of all, by making the most of every day you work, you’ll be helping us Make Every Day Count for those who need us most.
