Little Havens Children's Hospice cares for life-limited children and their families from across Essex. The hospice would not be here without the support of the local community as we rely on kind donations to continue caring.
Even though the hospice in Thundersley is a little further away, children who live in towns in the north of the county such as Colchester, Clacton, Braintree and Maldon still visit Little Havens for respite breaks, symptom control and end-of-life care.
We're looking for schools, groups, clubs, businesses and individuals from North Essex to support Little Havens by taking part in one of our brilliantly fun events, volunteering or even better join forces with friends, family or like minded people to organise a fundraising event or collection of their own.
To kick start, we've launched our special Beach Hut competition giving children and teenagers up to the age of 19, the same ages of those we care for, to name and design a sign for our delightful wooden Beach Hut along Clacton Seafront.
Get involved today by liking us on Facebook or follow @HavensHospices on Twitter, or donate online and keep checking here for the latest news from North Essex.
