Louis Terry Cooper (A.K.A Louby)

A diamond in the jewel box of children.

Louby wasn't your typical 10 year old.

He loved playing on his playstation but he was just as happy looking for shells and skimming stones on Southend beach. He liked to try different foods and for his 10th birthday we took him for an Indian so he could try a vindaloo. He liked the variety in his life.

He was thoughtful and caring and always looked out for his friends. He loved his little sister and they liked nothing more than to cuddle up together and watch a film.

His favourite holiday was camping in Wales. He didn't need theme parks and amusements, he amused himself by playing pirates on the beach or cricket with his dad.

Oliver's Tribute

Louis was my friend. He had been my friend ever since playgroup and I remember we were both happy when we were put together in the same group. We both started school at the same time and it wasn't so frightening because we were together. We were always in the same class and were good friends looking out for each other .

Louis would always greet me in the mornings by throwing out his arms and calling out to me 'Oli Wally Woo Waar'.

I miss that. Louis was a great friend - always smiling and ready to comfort you. It feels that the world is empty and is going to end without him - and for me it is. No one will come up to me with so much joy and happiness.

I miss you Louis.

Jade's Tribute

Louis was my little cousin and he was the kindest and happiest anyone could have. He always wanted to share. I miss him so much and I even miss him being grumpy!

Louis was always ready to look out for people and had lots of friends because he was so comforting and loyal.

Louis had a brilliant sense of humor and was always making jokes and laughing. He liked to use his imagination and have fun playing pirates or wizards and really funny games that he made up.

He loved his little sister Grace loads and they liked to play together. His favourite film was The Magic Roundabout and he knew all the phrases and kept repeating them in a funny voice to make people laugh!

I felt heartbroken when he died and I wondered what I would ever do without him.

I love you Louis and I will miss you for ever!
