A trooper to the end, Mum loved her family life, her friends and her home and garden.
Cooking a dinner or lunch for her family and guests followed by a good chat brings many memories to mind.
A traditional lady at heart, she was not afraid however of venturing into new areas or learning about differing cultures and lifestyles, later in life and through Fair Havens Day Centre she found pleasure in the creative arts, silk painting being one of her favourites.
When her condition deteriorated she was determined to remain as independent as possible, her bravery will influence our lives forever.
As her children and grandchildren we love the thought that she is now reunited with her soul mate and husband Roland, and know that she would be so proud to learn that her great granddaughter carries her name.
