Anthony Blowes (A.K.A Tony)

Tony was a wonderful man who loved his family and life and never gave up

Tony BlowesTony was a wonderful person who loved his family and always thought of them before himself.

This tribute is to a wonderful man that I will always be proud to call my Husband and I cannot put into words how much I miss him and how lonely it is without him. I miss him fluttering his eye lashes at me to make me laugh, just thinking about this now makes me smile.

He loved to take photographs and was an accomplished photographer, he had a passion for motorsport and would go to many motoring events with his son Daniel.

Tony loved life and we had many adventures to different parts of the world, but one of the places that he most liked to visit was Dartmoor. Our last holiday was to Paris in May with Daniel and Shelley we had a wonderful time and I was so proud of Tony for even though he was so ill he made the most of every moment that we were there, it is a time that I shall never forget.

Our daughter Joanne has two children Jasmine and Liam. Tony doted on them and his greatest regret was that he would not see them grow up but I am sure that wherever he is that he is still keeping an eye on us all.

When Tony died he left a void in many peoples hearts and he was an inspiration to others who gained strength and reassurance from his positive outlook on his illness and the stubborness that it was not going to stop him doing what he wanted to do with his life.

Dedicated to Tony by his sister in law and friend Helen Martin:

We give our loved ones back to God, just as he first gave them to us
He did not lose them in the giving,
so we have not lost them in returning them to him
For Life is Eternal, Love is Immortal
Death is only a horizon and a horizon is nothing but the limit of our earthly sight

God Bless
