When someone we love dies we often want to feel like we are doing something positive to honour their memory.
Setting up a Tribute Fund is a quick and easy process and it gives you a dedicated and personalised page on our website where family, friends and colleagues can share special memories and photographs of a loved one, whilst at the same time supporting the vital work of Havens Hospices in their name. All donations to the Tribute Fund or received by the charity in memory of that person will then be added to the Tribute Fund, and you can check the progress of your Tribute Fund at any time to see it grow.
All proceeds kindly donated through your fund will go to help the patients and their families at Havens Hospices who need our care and support. Your loved one’s memory will live on through the difference we are able to make to the lives of others.
The Forever Tribute Fund is available to anyone who has lost someone dear to them - not just for those who have been cared for by Fair Havens Hospice or Little Havens Children's Hospice.
Growing your Tribute Fund
Our online Forever Tribute Funds enable friends and family to write special messages and add pictures.
You can contribute as much and as often as you might like and there are many different ways in which yourself, friends and family may choose to donate:
- Marking a special occasion – birthdays, Christmas and anniversaries can be an especially difficult time for friends and family. Your Forever Tribute Fund gives everyone the opportunity to pay tribute to their loved one’s memory at this time by making a donation.
- Taking part in a Fundraising Event – many people choose to participate in a sponsored challenge, like a marathon or an overseas trek for example, or to hold their own event, like a coffee morning or a sponsored cycle ride to raise money for their Tribute Fund. We will also keep you informed about our own Havens Hospices events, for example the Havens to Havens Walk or the Santa Run, and you can keep an eye on our website to see what we’ve got coming up - click here to see our list of current events
- Making regular donations – like a card payment, direct debit or standing order to contribute monthly, quarterly or yearly. Regular income enables us to plan with confidence for the future of our Hospices – ensuring that we will always be here to meet the needs of the adults, children and families in our care. Once your fund has been set up we will keep in touch with you on a regular basis to update you on the amount raised by your Tribute Fund and news about how this is helping us to make every day count for the people that need us most.
