Supporters can raise money in two ways:
Buying
The Charity is often donated unusual or collectable items. In order to get the best donation for the goods, these are placed on eBay and sold to the highest bidder.

Selling
Sometimes our supporters sell unwanted items and donate a percentage of the selling price to Havens Hospices, from 10-100%.
Selling items in aid of charity adds credibility to your sale and a recieve a "Charity Ribbon" on your page. Selecting Gift Aid will add another 25% to your donation thanks to the taxman! eBay will also credit back your basic insertion fee and final value fees (equal to the percentage you donate).
