What is Travelling On?
Travelling On is a bereavement support group organised by Havens Hospices. This group is for the loved ones of those who have died. You are welcome to come to any of the sessions listed. All of the groups meet at Stuart House on Second Avenue in Westcliff, just around the corner from our adult hospice Fair Havens. At Travelling On there will someone for you to talk to about any aspect of your bereavement, both emotional and practical.
Who can attend Travelling On?
You can attend by yourself, or bring a friend or relative. We understand that you need lots of support during this difficult time. Those who attend find much benefit and comfort from the support of a small group of those in similar situations. If you have any difficulty with transport please get in touch. We may be able to arrange transport for you. We also offer light refreshments.
What other bereavement support groups are there?
h.i.p (healing in progress) is a two day group for children aged 7-13 who have been bereaved. This group is run during the half-term school holidays. Krafty Kidz is a craft group for both bereaved children and children who have a family member with a life-limiting illness. This group meets every two months.
