The ten-bedded In Patient Unit at Fair Havens Hospice, Essex, is designed to be as welcoming as possible. It is our intention to create a relaxed and homely environment which is beneficial to the physical, social, emotional and spiritual well-being of all who come here.
Four of our rooms are situated on the ground floor; all with en suite facilities. There is also a Jacuzzi bath on the ground floor. There are six bedrooms on the first floor, again all with en suite facilities. All bedrooms have electronic ceiling hoists.
When patients are offered a room our Nursing Team will ask if they can sit on a stair lift to gain access as we do not have a passenger lift because of building restrictions. Fair Havens is located very close to Westcliff seafront and boasts many local restaurants and cafes. Nearby is the larger town of Southend on Sea.
